Vidul Engineering Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Vidullanka PLC, entered in to an agreement with Ceylon Jewelry Manufacturer’s (Pvt) Ltd to initiate the development of a pilot project of 57.75 kWp grid-connected rooftop solar PV system, executed under the Net Plus scheme.

The installation optimally utilizes the expanse of the factory premises situated in Panadura, Sri Lanka. Achieving full operational status in May 2019, the project stands as a testament to the collaborative commitment to sustainable energy practices. The project was commissioned in May 2019 and it generates and transmits 83.4 MWh of clean energy to the National Grid annually.
