The 10 MW Ranna Plant is Vidullanka’s eighth ground-mounted solar facility, the largest developed by the company, which handled the Engineering, Procurement and Construction for this project. It is a joint venture with David Pieris Motor Company under DPV Solar Energy (Private Limited).

This plant comprises 20,496 solar modules, 34 inverters and two SMART transformer stations, and is expected to export approximately 19 GWh of clean energy to the national grid each year, offsetting an estimated 12,000 tonnes of CO2. The project also encompasses a newly constructed transmission line.
