Vidul Engineering Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Vidullanka PLC entered into an agreement with Emerald International (Pvt) Ltd to develop three projects consisting of a cumulative capacity of 938kWp grid connected rooftop solar PV system under the Net Plus system, utilizing the rooftop of the factory premises located in Panadura and Pannipitiya.

These projects were commissioned in January and February 2022 and is expected to generate approximately 1,300 MWh of clean energy to the National Grid annually.
