Vidullanka PLC celebrated the opening of its newest solar facility, the 6MW Madampe solar plant, on Saturday, 21 February 2026. This newly connected plant is the company’s largest fully owned solar facility in its portfolio and serves as the 4th solar project commissioned by the company during the 2025/26 financial year.

Constructed under the project company Vidul Madampe Solar Power (Private) Limited, this solar plant consists of 12,320 solar modules, 20 inverters and one transformer station. The plant holds the ability to export approximately 9.9 GWh of clean energy annually to the national grid with its 6 MW capacity.
