The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding one of Sri Lanka’s leading biomass and plantation businesses while contributing to renewable energy and sustainable development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence across plantation and biomass projects.
- Lead business development initiatives in biomass, pellet manufacturing, and energy wood.
- Expand cultivation and plantation operations.
- Develop and commercialize carbon credit projects.
- Identify and grow international markets for biomass and energy wood products.
- Build strategic partnerships with customers, investors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare business proposals, feasibility studies, and investment opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in plantation operations, renewable energy, agribusiness, or business development.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Experience in export market development and international business is an advantage.
- Knowledge of biomass, carbon credits, renewable energy, or sustainable plantation development will be highly desirable.
