Mohamed Mufashir began his career at Vidullanka in 2018 and has since cultivated experience in a wide range of areas in the energy sector. His early days at the company were spent as a plant engineer in Uganda, overseeing the operation, commissioning and management of Vidullanka’s overseas power plants. He also supported the management in its investment interests in Africa while stationed in Uganda.
Upon his return to Sri Lanka in December 2022, he took on key projects meant to propel the company’s diversification while serving as the Assistant Manager for Special Projects. This includes the implementation of VEDRIVE, Vidullanka’s maiden venture into e-mobility, as well as initiatives in the solar, wind, transmission line and distribution business.
Mufashir currently serves as a manager heading the e-mobility and transmission line business verticals, driving growth and diversification in these segments.
Mufashir holds a Master of Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Power Engineering from Curtin University, Australia.
