Vidullanka PLC is proud to have attained carbon neutrality across our operational portfolio, after having received the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Verification Statement under the internationally acclaimed ISO 14064-1:2018 standard. The verification was conducted by Control Union Sri Lanka, who presented the Greenhouse Gas Verification Opinion and the Carbon Neutral Certificate to the Vidul team during a handover ceremony held recently.

With this certification, the scope of which includes all our domestic operations and overseas subsidiaries in Uganda, Vidullanka becomes the first power sector company in Sri Lanka to align its GHG reporting with the domestic emission reduction target.
