We are seeking a proficient and results-oriented Maintenance Engineer to support and enhance the maintenance efforts at our biomass plants
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, preventive and predictive maintenance of all mechanical systems.
- Diagnose, repair mechanical failures, and perform root cause analysis.
- Upkeep maintenance records, logs, work orders, and CMMS updates.
- Coordinate with Operations, Electrical, and other departments for smooth plant operation.
- Ensure HSE compliance and perform risk assessments.
- Perform condition-based maintenance.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience is required.
- Experience in biomass power plants or similar industries would be an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of boilers, steam turbines, pumps, valves, condenser, gearboxes, and conveyors.
- Familiarity with CMMS for maintenance planning and tracking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate with multi-disciplinary departments.
- Proficiency in digital tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
