Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical [Vidul Biomass (Private) Limited]

We are seeking a proficient and results-oriented Maintenance Engineer to support and enhance the maintenance efforts at our biomass plants

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections, preventive and predictive maintenance of all mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose, repair mechanical failures, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Upkeep maintenance records, logs, work orders, and CMMS updates.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Electrical, and other departments for smooth plant operation.
  • Ensure HSE compliance and perform risk assessments.
  • Perform condition-based maintenance.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience is required.
  • Experience in biomass power plants or similar industries would be an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of boilers, steam turbines, pumps, valves, condenser, gearboxes, and conveyors.
  • Familiarity with CMMS for maintenance planning and tracking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate with multi-disciplinary departments.
  • Proficiency in digital tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
