As Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operations of the electrical systems of the company’s biomass plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on switchgear panels, transformers, circuit breakers, motors and electrical equipment.
- Ensure reliable operation of HT/LT distribution systems, MCC panels, VFDs, PLC/DCS systems, and protection relays; monitor parameters and respond to faults.
- Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and coordinate with operations and mechanical teams during shutdowns, overhauls and emergencies.
- Maintain plant lighting, earthing, and auxiliary power systems; support energy efficiency initiatives.
- Enforce electrical safety procedures including LOTO, safe isolation, and compliance with statutory regulations and company standards.
- Manage critical spare parts inventory to ensure uninterrupted plant operation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- B.sc Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a power generation plant (preferably biomass, thermal, or renewable energy).
