Vidullanka PLC together with the Government Institutions, celebrates 74th Independence day with a multiple Tree planting program

With a vision to protect the watersheds of the Catchment areas and enhance the health & integrity of the environment, Vidullanka PLC commenced a tree planting program in 2019.

Vidullanka’s mission is to increase the greenery – through the support and promotion of tree planting programs by working together with employees, neighbors and government institutions and develop the program as 100% sustainable Project.
In order strengthen the project and enhance the forestry, 74th independence was celebrated by conducting multiple tree planting program around the country.

  • Tree planting program conducted by Vidullanka PLC- Madugeta MHPP together with, Divisional Secretary, MP Galle, Chaiman PS, Police, Forest Department and the youth of Neluwa The program is aligned with the national tree-planting program launched by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. – 500 Plants At neluwa and Lankagama
  • Tree planting program at Badulla – Meegahawela temple land was conducted by planting 200 plants with the participation of Theros of Megahawela temple, Gramasewa Niladari and the neighbors of the village. The program was organized led by Vidullanka PLC -Udawela MHPP and led by In charge Chamika and the team. Appreciate the team for organising and conducting the program in a short period and joining the islawide program, while following all the Corvid 19 regulations. The program will continue at the Meegahawela school by planting another 200+ plants.
  • A tree planting program was conducted at wewelwaththa area by planting 100 plants with the participation of Wewalwaththa Police and the comunity. The program was organized by Vidullanka PLC Bambarabatuoya MHPP & led by In charge Samanthilake the team.
  • Two internal tree planting programs were conducted at Lower kotmale MHP and Batathota MHPP in their own land premises. 100 plants
