Mr. Amr Khalid joined the group’s dendro arm Vidul Biomass (Pvt) Ltd as Finance Manager in 2019, and currently serves as Manager of Finance and Administration. In his capacity as a manager, Mr. Khalid has overseen the management of the group’s biomass segment. With nearly ten years of experience as a finance professional, he contributes his expertise in finance to further the development of the existing dendro plant and exploring the initiation of future projects. His proficiency in the business functions of biomass and the renewable energy industry is spoken for in his appointment as the secretary of the Bio Energy Association of Sri Lanka in 2024. He is also a committee member of the Sri Lanka Japan Business Council.

Mr. Khalid is an Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He is currently reading for an MBA from the Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK).
