Mr. Mafaz Ansar has a demonstrated history as a finance professional with over fifteen years of experience working in the Renewable Energy industry. His expertise spans across different areas of the finance sector, with a strong proficiency in Islamic Finance, Cross Border Financing, Project Finance, Corporate Budgeting, Internal Controls, Financial Reporting, Financial Modeling, Treasury Management and Corporate Debt Restructuring.

He has played an integral role in Vidullanka’s financial operations for over fifteen years, having served as the Head of Finance from 2011 to 2020, following which he took on the role of Group Financial Controller. He was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Vidullanka in 2023.

Mr. Ansar holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
