Mahesh Prasantha joined Vidullanka PLC as the General Manager of Plantations under Vidullanka PLC’s dendro arm and subsidiary Vidul Plantation (Pvt) Limited in 2018. Channeling his 20 years of experience in plantation sector, Mahesh has played a key role since the initiation of the company’s sustainable Gliricidia plantation, which aimed at establishing a sustainable fuel wood supply to the Dehiattakandiya dendro power plant. With his expertise in plantation management as well as crop cultivation and management, he has supported the growth of Vidullanka’s dendro arm, supporting the development of the fuelwood supply chain comprising 3500 farmers.

Mahesh holds a BSc. in Agricultural Sciences specializing in Plantation Management from the Sabaragamuwa University.
