Mr. Sidath Fernando is the chairman and shareholder of the family-owned business, V.D.P. Fernando Co. Ltd, established in 1938. He is also the Managing Partner of Crystal Holding (Pvt) Ltd.

Mr. Fernando has established his business interests in the sectors of manufacturing, real estate, property management, and information communications technology. He has generated a wealth of entrepreneurial experience in real estate and property development where he has been extensively involved in the successful development and management of large scale commercial and retail outlets in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Overall, Mr. Fernando possesses three decades of experience in business management, finance, manufacturing, and marketing whilst managing his own small and medium enterprises.

Mr. Fernando has previously served on the boards of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC, Sky Network (Pvt) Ltd, SLT Manpower Solutions (Pvt) Ltd and People’s Leasing and Finance PLC as a Director. He has also served as a committee member of the Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka and a Rotarian of the Rotary Club of Colombo.

He has served as a board member of Vidullanka PLC since 2012.
