VIDULLANKA PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s leading power producers recently won a mammoth of awards and recognition for being commendable in 5S practices from the Japanese Sri Lanka Technical and Cultural Association (JASTECA). The highly respected alumni society with an active global network identifies the best performers in the country who excel in the practice of 5S practices after a series of audits conducted by industry experts.
The Association upholds the benchmark of excellence for companies practicing Japanese productivity concepts such as the globally accepted 5S system for organizing, promoting efficiency, effectiveness, and safety. JASTECA award ceremony was held for the 24th consecutive year at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Galadari.
VIDULLANKA PLC- Nilwala Vidulibala Mini hydropower plant in Morawaka won the coveted Gold Award in the small category while VIDULLANKA PLC Wembiyagoda MHPP in Kalawana received the Bronze Award. VIDULLANKA PLC – Ganthuna MHPP in Kegalle Aranayake was presented a with merit award.
