Vidullanka PLC commissioned its 7th mini hydro power plant in Neluwa, Galle. The Madugeta Mini Hydro Power Project, with the capacity of 2.5 MW was connected to the national grid on 1st October, 2013. The project annually generates and transmits 10.12 GWh of environmental friendly electricity under the standard purchasing power agreement with the Ceylon electricity board.
